Bestcena.pl internet shop was first launched in 2008, with together its Slovakian counterpart reaching over 28000 orders during the years, when finally closing its B2C operation in 2011. During the next 3 years it was working only as B2B and in 2014 relaunching its B2C part, opening again bestcena.pl for general public.

During the next 3 years it was working only as B2B and in 2014 relaunching its B2C part, opening again bestcena.sk for general public.

  • 2006 October – business name registered and website functioned as product catalog
  • 2007 – developing own internet shop engine, with no success
  • 2007 November – moving over to Zen Cart open source and converting product catalog into a functional e-shop
  • 2008 March – first order received for a Panasonic battery
  • 2008-2011 – expanding to 72 employees, 6000 products, 28522 customers, 3 brick and mortar shops
  • 2011 September – last B2C order received for Electrolux fridge
  • 2011-2013 – internet shop was closed for general public and only warranty claims were fulfilled
  • 2014 January – decision to re-open B2C internet shop
